The Story Behind Seddy: From Family Solution to National Brand

A Mother, A Pharmacist, A New Mission
As a pharmacist, I’ve spent years guiding patients—answering their questions, easing their worries, and offering solutions for better health. But hair? Honestly, I never thought about it. It wasn’t part of my professional focus, and I didn’t care much about it at all.
That all changed the day I became a mother.
When my daughter was just two years old, I shaved her hair, hoping it would grow back thicker and stronger. Like so many parents, I believed starting fresh would bring healthy growth. But instead, her hair remained thin, fragile, and slow to grow.
For the first time, I faced a problem I couldn’t solve with my training or the shelves of a pharmacy. But this wasn’t just any patient—it was my daughter. And I wasn’t going to stop until I found an answer.
From Kitchen Table Experiments to a Breakthrough
What began as desperation quickly turned into determination. Late at night, after long shifts at work, I started blending oils in my kitchen. Castor oil for thickness. Rosemary to stimulate follicles. Peppermint to boost scalp circulation.
At first, it was trial and error—but then came the breakthrough. Slowly, my daughter’s hair began to transform. It grew longer, thicker, and healthier than ever before. Today, her once-fragile strands now reach all the way down to her hip—thick, beautiful, and strong.
That transformation lit a fire inside me. What started as a family solution was too powerful to keep a secret.

From Family Secret to Thousands of Women
Friends and family noticed first, asking, “What are you using on her hair?” I shared bottles from my kitchen, never imagining it would grow beyond that. But the results spoke louder than words.
Soon, neighbors were calling. Co-workers were ordering. Women I had never met were reaching out, desperate for the same solution.
What began with one little girl turned into thousands of women across the country recovering their hair, restoring their edges, and regaining their confidence—all with the same oil that started on my kitchen table.
The Birth of Seddy
By September 2023, I knew it was time to share this solution with the world. That’s when Seddy officially launched—a brand born out of love, science, and family.
We started small, but the growth was unstoppable. In less than two years, Seddy products moved from local sales to national platforms like Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and our own store, SeddyNaturals.com.
And along the way, something incredible happened: the national media noticed.

Gaining National Recognition
Seddy’s story—rooted in family, science, and community—has now gained recognition far beyond my home. We were recently featured in The Globe and Mail, highlighting Seddy’s national retail expansion and our commitment to small-batch, plant-powered hair and body oils Read the feature here.
This coverage wasn’t just about products—it was about a mission. A story. A reminder that when passion and purpose come together, big things can happen.
